POLOKWANE – Snell Phoshoko Primary School Principal Mosomane Phala received the generous gesture on behalf of the school and its learners. EFF Councillor Zacharias Legodi and EFF’s Dinah Mohlabeng handed the shoes and stationery over to the Phala as the learners lined up for assembly. “The school has a high number of learners and some of which come from disadvantaged family backgrounds and the EFF has observed and watched them closely as we stay in the same area, so that’s how we found out that they did not have enough school shoes and stationery. We are trying by all means to ensure that these learners do not miss any school days because of school shoes or a pen/pencil to write in class,” Legodi said.
He further explained that they will continue doing this in and around the community to ensure that every learner has an equal and uninterrupted chance to education.
