Another body found in a burnt out vehicle in a Limpopo village

The Mashashane Police are appealing to the public to help identity the body of a person found in a burnt-out vehicle at Christina village, ga-Maraba on Tuesday.

LIMPOPO – The charred remains of an unknown person was discovered by a passerby who immediately alerted the police, said Police Brigadier Motlafela Mojapelo.

“On arrival the officers found a burnt-out white Toyota Double Cab 3.0D. The occupant of the vehicle was burnt beyond recognition and preliminary investigations have revealed that the vehicle may have been driven off the road, into the bush and then set alight with the already deceased victim inside,” explained Mojapelo.

The motive for this incident is unknown at this stage but police investigations continue.

Anyone who can shed light on the incident or has someone reported missing from their family, are requested to contact the Branch Commander of Mashashane police station Warrant Officer Galane at 0823008134, or call the toll free number 0860010111.

This comes after the body of an unknown person was found burnt to ashes inside a Mercedes Benz in Malipsdrift policing area this past weekend. No arrest was effected in that incident and the body is yet to be identified. We are still making an appeal to anyone with information that can assist in the identification of the deceased and the arrest of the suspects responsible to contact Brigadier James Esbach at 0825760743 or call the crime stop number 0860010111, concluded Mojapelo.
