POLOKWANE – This ceremony was held at the school on Wednesday, 24 January and the Principal of the school, Bettie Boom, congratulated all the recipients and thanked them for increasing the school’s performance during the National Senior Certificate examination with 30% since 2016.

“I thank my colleagues for their dedication and effort in ensuring the learners stayed focused to their studies so they can achieve the best results. One of the school’s top performers, Thabo Komape, couldn’t attend the ceremony as he is currently at Sefako Makgatho (the old Medunsa) where he is studying towards a qualification in medicine.

“As a school and the community, we decided to dedicate and name a section of the school after him, the Thabo Komape Square, located at the centre of the school, to show our appreciation and acknowledge his hard work. It is Thabo and Bridle Molomo, currently enrolled to study towards a B.Sc in optometry at the University of Limpopo, who have lifted the school to greater heights and we truly appreciate their hard work and dedication,” she said.
She added she hopes the Gr 8 to 12 learners will be encouraged and inspired to work as hard as Thabo and Bridle did.
Their teachers also played a vital role in their achievements as they kept them motivated and inspired to do their best.”
