LIMPOPO – “We can confirm that a VW Crafter and a Toyota Quantum, travelling in opposite directions, collided and immediately caught flame. Both drivers were burnt beyond recognition,” Transport Spokesperson, Matomi Moremi-Taueatsoala said.
“According to police investigations a third occupant, a 29-year-old female passenger who was travelling in the VW, sustained serious burn wounds and was transport to a nearby hospital, said Constable Maphure Manamela.

Manamela added that the names of the deceased will be released as soon as their positive identification has been made and their next of kin have been notified.
The cause of the accident is not known at this stage but a case of culpable homicide is being investigated.
