[WATCH] R2.2 million to be invested in education, says Polokwane Mayor
Polokwane's Executive Mayor, Thembi Nkadimeng adressed guests at the Vodacom Bulls and Cell C Sharks Gala Dinner at the Ranch Resort on Friday night
POLOKWANE – Executive Mayor, Thembi Nkandimeng, first wished the Vodacom Bulls and Cell C Sharks the best of luck for their match today, adding that more clubs should empower the community through events such as the warm-up game.
Nkadimeng then said the municipality would be giving R2.2 million into educating children in the community.
“Our focus is strictly the Polokwane Municipality and its boundaries, but our onward focus now as the city, is to make sure that we give a lot towards technical skills, so that we can be able to develop together as a community,” Nkadimeng concluded.
