Mokopane and surrounding areas to be affected by planned water interruption
This water supply interruption is necessary to enable Lepelle Northern Water to conduct much needed maintenance work at the Doorndraai canal
MOKOPANE – Notice is hereby given for an interruption of the water supply to consumers in Mokopane CBD, Central Mokopane, Ext 3,5,6,7,8,9,11,12,13,16 & 18 including all the low cost housing extensions namely Ext 14, 17, 19 & 20, will take place from 06:00 Saturday, 27 January 06:00 to Monday, 29 January.
This water supply interruption is necessary to enable Lepelle Northern Water to conduct much needed maintenance work at the Doorndraai canal which transports water to the municipality and water treatment works.
No guarantee can be given that the water will remain disconnected for the whole period, and residents are therefore informed to consider all connections as water active.
Consumers are advised to keep all water taps closed to avoid unnecessary disputes on bills.
