LIMPOPO – According to reports David Tshiruruvhele, a former taxi driver, allegedly shot and killed his wife Angela Tshiruruvhele (46) and his son (4) before turning the gun on himself, said Police Spokesperson, Brigadier Motlafela Mojapelo.
The police were alerted to the situation and emergency services were summoned to the scene. The alleged shooter as well as both victims were declared dead on this scene, he explained.
The motive behind the shooting is still unknown at this stage but two cases of murder and one of inquest are being investigated.
“As the police, we condemn this tendency of people resorting to violent means to resolve issues. There are structures in place, some of which offer their services for free, to assist in any domestic related problems,” concluded Mojapelo.
