POLOKWANE – At some point or another, there has to have been a teacher who impacted your life in some way.

Teachers play a special part in the lives of children for the formative years of their development and the importance of teachers is something that cannot be understated.

With Wednesday being the first day of school across South Africa, the focus was mainly on the children and their first day of school, but sometimes we tend to forget the teachers and how they prepare.

At the end of the day, teachers have to be ready no matter what, ready with their lesson plans, ready for tears and ready to educate the future of South Africa.

With that in mind, Review visited Mitchell House to speak to Sue Altenroxel on how she prepares for the first day of school.
