POLOKWANE – It is uncommon to drive in Polokwane and not see an accident, broken down truck or a traffic light that is not working. It was because of this that former local resident, Khell van der Lith, decided to open a Whatsapp broadcast group to assist motorists in traveling safely around the city.
Motorists grew used to being well informed of all things traffic-wise in the city, but when Khell announced his relocation to the Western Cape, residents were left wondering whether the service would still be available.
The group will now be run by Duan Visser, who decided to take over the broadcast group.
“Unfortunately, as Khell made a back-up, all the names were lost, so now we have a list of numbers, but no names. We would like those who were on the list to please resend their numbers, along with their names so that I can save it and get this broadcast group up and running again,” says Visser.
