Heatwave Alert: Limpopo temperatures to soar

“Persistently high temperatures are expected over the Western Bushveld and Limpopo Valley areas until Monday 8 January 2018.”

The South African Weather Service has issued a heatwave warning for Limpopo, Gauteng, Mpumalanga, north-eastern parts of the Northern Cape, Free State and North West.

According to SA Weather Services the persistently high temperatures in Limpopo are expected to last until Monday 8 January 2018.

Heat can affect your health more than you might think. Prolonged exposure to hot temperatures can lead to worsening of heart problems, respiratory difficulties and can also cause heatstroke.
