Speaker of the Legislature, Polly Boshielo, wishes all citizens merriment, good health in 2018

As the year 2017 draws to an end, we look back and take stock of what we set out to achieve.

We had great achievements, celebrated our success and are now presented with yet another opportunity to achieve more. With the festive season upon us, we call on everyone to have a renewed sense of hope and determination to improve the conditions of living for the people of our beautiful province, Limpopo.

Our continued engagements with various communities within the province have also sustained our thirst for change. We remain focused in fulfilling our constitutional mandate, serving our people. As the Limpopo Legislature, we remain committed in our endeavour to turn the tide and continue to be the voice of the people of Limpopo.

The festive season ushers in a great sense of belonging for us as African people, as it brings together families from far and wide.

The rich diversity that resides in our province also makes us a beautiful unique people of this great nation. Our opulent culture makes this festive season a time to share even with those less fortunate than us within our communities.

This season will also include a lot of travelling with our province being the corridor in and out of South Africa. We therefore wish everyone, their family, friends and relatives, safety on the road as they make their way to different holiday destinations across the country.

I take this opportunity, on behalf of the Limpopo Legislature, to wish all the citizens of Limpopo a joyous Christmas and a renewed journey into the New Year as we usher in the year 2018.
