We were impressed how well the car deals with gears, comfort and drive.
For a small car it had a very luxurious feel to it and did not compromise on space and comfort.
The Polo offers innovative and advanced information systems which comes standard and feels like you are stepping into the future when you get behind the steering wheel.
It is understandable why the car is so popular among students and small families.
The 1.2 TSI engine, offering 81kW, drove smoothly and silently around town.
When we hit the open road, the engine had to work a bit harder but it’ll get you there, with accurate cornering and abundant grip on the road.
Most people who look for a motor in this class will find it comforting that the Polo is inexpensive.
Volkswagen has incorporated the award winning TSI engine technology across all models so you never have to choose between performance and economy again.
The 1.2 TSI offers enhanced performance and you will easily think that you are behind the wheel of a 1.6 engine.
In short, the Polo is a handsome little devil and we were not surprised that there are so many on our roads.
