Search for missing girl (12) continues in Maake, Tzaneen

Phangweni Julia Moagi (12) has been missing since 11 December 2017

LIMPOPO – Police spokesperson Lt Col Moatshe Ngoepe says the South African Police Service will remain persistent in condemning the continuous poor child care by both parents and guardians ,which is still generating more incidents of missing children and drownings.

Ngoepe says the search for Moagi began on allegations that she had an argument with her mother over an electricity bill.

“After the argument, the victim told her mother that she was going out and since then, she hasn’t been back home,” Ngoepe explained.

He says a joint search operation was conducted in and around her residential area without success.

Moagi was was wearing long trouseras, a white vest and a grey sweater jacket.
