Tshivhengwa to take Makhado Municipality to’a higher level’

Councillor Freddy Tshivhengwa was appointed as the new Municipal Manager of Makhado last Tuesday

LIMPOPO – Makhado Mayor Shonisani Sinyosi, says there was no doubt that Tshivhengwa will take the Makhado Municipality to a higher level.
“Tshivhengwa is a well-experienced manager and we are pleased that he has accepted the responsibility to run this municipality. We will give him our full support to ensure that he executes his duties with ease,” said Sinyosi.
She also passed her gratitude to Johaness Kwanwedo for steering the municipality in the right direction over the past few some months.
Tshivhengwa explained that he is ready for the hot seat.
“I believe in team work and I’m ready to take Makhado Municipality back to its former glory,” he said.
He further thanked the municipal council for having faith in him.
“I know it will not be an easy task but I’m ready for the challenges ahead. Despite limited resources, we will work hard to make sure that we meet the needs of our community members out there. No man is an island and I will not be able to do everything on my own. With the current team of dedicated councillors and officials, we will surely realise our vision of building a better Makhado for all,” he added.
“As a municipality, we are developing an action plan that will see councillors and employees working hand in hand to deliver better services to the communities, to encourage our employees to be hands-on and communicate well the progammes and projects of the district municipality,” Tshivhengwa concluded.
