Lepahale store robbed and burnt down, hunt on for six suspects

LIMPOPO – The Police in Lephalale are searching for six suspects who robbed and set alight a store in a Lephalale complex yesterday evening (Sunday).
According to Police Spokesperson, Lt Col Moatshe Ngoepe, it is alleged that at around 19:50 a store employee was confronted by six unknown suspects while closing the store. One suspect was armed and held the employee and gunpoint and demanded the money. Before fleeing the scene with an undisclosed amount of money, the suspects set alight the store subsequently burning the whole store with everything inside.
The damage to the store during this incident is estimated to be about R11m and the suspects are stillĀ unknown and there have been no arrests as yet, confirmed Ngoepe.
