POLOKWANE – SAPS in Polokwane officially launched their Operation Safer Festive Season earlier this morning.
“We will paint the town blue so people can be safe and feel safe,” Police Spokesperson Brigadier Motlafelo Mojapelo said at a media briefing.

“The operation started at 05:00 with three road blocks on major entrance routes to Polokwane. Thereafter police officers, joined by support staff, patrolled at various malls in Polokwane and Seshego.”

Mojapelo confirmed the operation will be ongoing throughout the festive season.
