Learners were given gold medals to show that they have successfully completed their Grade R lessons and were ready to proceed to Grade 1 next year. About 200 learners graduated on the day and parents came out in large numbers to witness the big day.
The Principal Noeline Jordaan thanked parents for entrusting the school with their children and further emphasised that parents and guardians should play a vital role in their children’s lives and ensure that their school work is in order. She stated that the day was not for long speeches but to celebrate. Among those who graduated was the Department of Health Spokesperson Derick Kganyago’s daughter Reneilwe.
