Body of 42-year-old man found in his Ladanna residence

Police say there is no foul play suspected at this time

POLOKWANE – Police spokesperson Lt Col Moatshe Ngoepe says Westenburg police are investigating a case of inquest after the man’s body was found at Ga-Rena Rental place in Ladanna on Monday evening.

The deceased was last seen by his family on Saturday, 25 November, at a funeral service in Mankweng and was found dead, in his place of residence on Monday.

“Neighbours were concerned about the strange smell coming from his apartment and when they opened, they discovered the deceased lying on a couch already in a state of decomposition,” Ngoepe explained.

The deceased was identified by his family as Griffis Mohashoa from Segopye, Mankweng.

“At this stage, no foul play is suspected and police investigations are continuing.”
