POLOKWANE – Greg Mortenson once said: “When you take time to actually listen to what people have to say, it is amazing what you can learn. Especially when the people who are doing the talking also happen to be children”.
This rang true when the question ‘Why does a camel have two humps on its back?’ was asked to a couple of Gr R’s at Noordjieland. The answers ring testimony that creative thinking is not just age bound seeing as these youngsters had their teachers in tears laughing. Although some were too shy to share their opinion, others took centre stage at discussing their point of view with the amount of confidence that would make any actor blush.
