Polokwane on ‘severe thunderstorm’ watch
The warning comes as spring cut-off low is set to affect the country over the next few days.
POLOKWANE – The city is currently under a “severe thunderstorm watch” on the South African Weather Service’s website.
The weather service says severe thunderstorms are expected in the central and eastern parts of Limpopo today and tomorrow, 16 November.

Cut-off lows often result in a pronounced destabilization of the atmosphere and this, along with favourable wind conditions, could at times lead to severe thunderstorms.
