POLOKWANE – Mamikie hosted the pageant to give young models in Moletjie a platform to showcase their skills.
The pageant was her second initiative in raising money for a Moletjie based care centre for the disabled, which she adopted as part of the Mrs Polokwane 2018 pageant.

Categories for the Mr and Miss Sunshine Limpopo pageant were 4 to 9 years, 10 to 15 years, 16 to 18 years and 19 to 26 years boys and girls. The models were awarded certificates, sashes, crowns and presents.
“The vision behind this event was to give back to the community in a fun way. The different talents showcased included singing, poetry, drama, dancing and much more. “The youth of Polokwane have a golden talent,” Mamikie said.

Elisabeth Kwena Manamela, the Queen of Africa 2012, was a special guest at the pageant.

• Miss Sunshine Junior second princess and public choice: Onalena Matokoane.
• Miss Sunshine Junior photogenic: Keagagutswe Kganyago.
• Mr Sunshine Junior: Rorisang Tsipa.
• Mr Sunshine Junior first prince: Adlecia Malatje.
