LIMPOPO – Police spokesperson Lt Col Moatshe Ngoepe confirmed that eight people have been killed.
“It is alleged three cars and a truck collided during a pile-up, where five occupants of a double cab died instantly and the other three who died were passengers in other cars,” he explained.
Department of Health spokesperson Thabiso Teffo says Limpopo Health EMS are currently attending to the accident.
“EMS is attending to one serious injured patient,” he said.
LIMPOPO -According to reports, the accident occurred between Naboom and Kranskop.

Three vehicles and a truck were involved but the cause of the accident is still unknown.
Emergency personnel are currently on scene.
