There is still time for aspiring beauty queens to enter the Miss Limpopo/Teen 2018 beauty pageant and stand the chance to win amazing prizes.
According to Matlakala Bopape, Chair of the Miss Limpopo Trust, entries will still be accepted until close of business on Friday. Selection interviews will start on Saturday at 09:00 at House of Asante Spa, 29 Jorissen Street in Polokwane.

Lelo Mkansi, Miss Limpopo 2016, says she is looking forward to going on a cruise to the Portuguese Islands. The cruise is one of the prizes she won.

Ten Miss Limpopo and 10 Miss Limpopo Teen finalists will be selected after the selection interviews, Bopape said participation will provide contestants with loads of opportunities to take part in intensive result-oriented personal grooming and training boot camps as well as weekend workshops, run by experts in the industry. “These will prepare finalists not only to become the best Limpopo youth role models and ambassadors for their province, but will also open doors for more life-changing opportunities out there,” Bopape explained.

Lelo Mkansi, Miss Limpopo 2016, said she is very excited about taking a cruise to the Portuguese Islands in a few months’ time. This trip was one of the prizes she won as Miss Limpopo 2016.
“It is definitely worthwhile entering this pageant,” she added.
Lesego Matheba, Miss Limpopo Teen 2017, agreed with Lelo and added that being part of the pageant has taught her a lot.
The gala event and crowning night is set to take place on 8 December, at Meropa Sun.
