Store owner Joze Vieira said to Polokwane Observer on Tuesday that all the stock he had bought for the festive season was lost in the fire.
The value of goods lost was R15 million, he indicated.
Investigations into the cause of the fire are still underway and the store remains closed. Vierra said his employees were deployed to his other franchises in the city.
On Tuesday Police Spokesperson, Moatshe Ngoepe said: “Forensic experts are still busy with investigations.
“We don’t want to rush them. We will wait for them and once they are done with the investigations we will be able to share the details.”
