Auction: Game farm, chapel, movables up for grabs

Van's Auctioneers will present a few opportunities to acquire different farms over the upcoming weeks. Buyers should be on the lookout for the auctions near Mookgophong.

The first of these auctions will be on 19 October at 11:00, at Milner House, which is an historical land mark and monument and the chapel situated on the game farm/ lodge at the remainder of portion 3 of the farm Driefontein 317, Mookgophong.

This farm is ± 321 ha in extent, and the improvements make up approximately 3 200 m². Apart from the Milner House, chapel, lovely dwelling, tea garden, cold storage, butcher room and more, it also features a main lodge with a house, two chalets, bar and dining area, entertainment lapa, swimming pool and many more good improvements.

Adjacent to this is a farm of ± 400 ha, which is unimproved and ideal for game and cattle farming. A further two farm portions of approximately 285ha has improvements of ± 2 100 m², including a farm stall, 3 houses, garages, five horse stables, staff houses, two large stores and lots more. These four farms comprise a total of ± 1 008ha and will also be offered jointly.

The last property on auction is a farm portion of approximately 43ha, with improvements of nearly 2 300m². It features a large and neat industrial storage facility of over 1000m², a large house which is currently used as offices, garages, a workshop, staff rooms and ablution facilities.
