[TAKE NOTE] Water shortages expected as the Dalmada Plant is out of operation

The Polokwane Municipality says the plant is out of operation due to a burst in the Dap Naude pipe line

POLOKWANE – According to the municipality, the maintenance team have been searching for the burst location among the farms, since Thursday evening, and will resume with repairs soon afterwards.

The burst is likely to affect reservoir levels and it is expected that the high catchment areas such as Flora Park, Serala View, Ster Park and Bendor may be affected.

Residents in low catchment areas are encouraged to use water sparingly to avoid negative impact.
