Masetshaba Moyaba, a Meteorologist Technician at the South African Weather Service Polokwane Weather Office, demonstrates some the different weather sensors used in the gathering and communicating of weather information.
These instruments include the automatic rain gauge, the manual rain gauge, the R.M. Young wind sensor, Stevenson’s screen (the humidity and temperature/ thermometer sensor).
