Queens of courage and courageous captain’s celebrated

Reach for a Dream recently hosted an event for children with terminal illnesses.

POLOKWANE – As part of the event they visited Sun Meropa World where the boys had the opportunity to ride on the go-carts and play put-put. A special surprise was a visit to Sun Meropa’s WildThingsz where they enjoyed a snake show.

While the boys were out and about the girls enjoyed a tea party at Nguni Grill, complete with cake and crowns with Katryn Barwise doing the honours of crowning each of them.

Everyone received goodie bags to bring an end to a perfect day.

Yolande Almeida, who accompanied the group, said they all had a wonderful time. “Thank you so much for all the sponsors and helping hands. Thank you to Ronell Munro from Reach for a Dream for involving us.”

Ronell Munro in turn thanked everyone involved in making the day special and memorable. “The day was a resounding success. Special thanks to Ivan Almeida and his wife, Yolande, Mauneen van Wyk and everyone else who made the day special. Your hearts are in the right place,” she said.
