The smallest art gallery in Africa opens

It is the brainchild of local resident, Peter Shackleton, who wanted to create the smallest art gallery in Africa.

LIMPOPO – Sandwiched between two buildings that make up the Pennefather complex in Rissik Street, Haenertsburg was a tiny unused gap. It is the brainchild of local resident, Peter Shackleton, who wanted to create the smallest art gallery in Africa.
It was recently opened showcasing local artists’ works. There’s place for one person at a time to view the artworks and photographing the gallery from the outside is only possible through the stays of the windmill in the foreground.
