Leandra highlights inner beauty with the stroke of her majestic makeup brush
The change of the season brings about brighter days, dewy flowers and the chirping of birds so it is only fitting your makeup should reflect this as well.
POLOKWANE – Leandra Lacante from Majestic Worx shared some tips on how to apply makeup for spring.
“I have always loved doing makeup. I did makeup professionally before my children were born and I resumed my passion of applying makeup two years ago,” Leandra explained while applying Mrs Polokwane 2017, Irene Schempers’ face.
“It takes me around an hour to apply makeup as I am very thorough with the process, everything must be perfect. I use Alila products which have to be warmed up slightly before you can use it but it is wonderful as the outside temperature will not ruin your makeup.”
Leandra has completed a variety of courses to be able to transform and highlight a woman’s inner beauty for any occasion, be it a wedding, matric farewell or any other special occasion.
“The best thing about being a make-up artist is seeing the transformation when you help to bring out the beauty in every woman. Doing makeup is an artform in itself and although it might look easy in tutorials you find on the internet, believe me when I say it is not as easy as it looks,” she laughed.
