Why SA should not condone elephant culling

Two local schools, Eagles Nest Christian School and Mitchell House Preparatory School on Wednesday squared off during a debate tournament at the school.

Eagles nest learners debated on behalf of elephant culling with the argument that the elephants evade space in Kruger National Park, however Faizaan Khan from Mitchell House debated against the concept of culling. His argument was very persuasive.

“Culling is expensive, and it’s not the way to go, so let’s save money and the animals,” he concluded.

After much deliberation Mitchell House was declared the winner.
