POLOKWANE – Several complaints have been received from residents in Westenburg, Seshego and parts of the CBD, as refuse has not been collected since Thursday, 30 August
According to the spokesperson for the Polokwane Municipality, Matshidiso Mothapo, the delay is due to a backlog because of problems within the municipality.
Mothapo said he cannot, at this stage, elaborate on the matter but assured that the problem is being dealt with and rubbish removal is being done.
He said that any issues with removal or other problems can be reported to the municipality at 015 2970 2000, where residents should choose option six.
