EFF’s Jossey Buthane to next appear in September

This was confirmed by Police spokesperson Lt Col Moatshe Ngoepe.

POLOKWANE – Ngoepe said Buthane appeared in the Seshego Magistrates Court on Wednesday, 30 August where his case was postponed till 27 September.

“He appeared on charges of assault with the intent to cause grevious bodily harm and common assault,” he concluded.

POLOKWANE – EFF Limpopo’s Provincial Secretary, Jossey Buthane told Review that he had not assaulted his aunt and nieces.

This comes after fresh allegations that Buthane physically assaulted his female relatives over an inheritance dispute involving his grandparents’ house in Seshego.

“My grandparents, who are no more, had four children, my aunts and uncles, who are now fighting over the property that they left behind.

“I have been brought into the matter as my aunt wants to use my name to obtain rights to the house,” he told Review.

Buthane says his involvement in the matter is to try and bring peace among his family, but says he has now pulled out and has instead, called his elders to intervene.
