Police cracking down on stock theft in Limpopo with recovery of 40 heads of cattle

The Mokopane Police urge livestock owners who have lost cattle recently to come to the station to identity stolen stock which was recovered on Tuesday.

MOKOPANE – 40 heads of cattle were recovered during a police operation in the Mokopane, Polokwane, Lebowakgomo and Mahwelereng Policing areas. This operation conducted by the SAPS Stock Theft Unit targeted areas with prevalent incidents of this crime category in an effort to fight incidents of stock theft in the province.

No arrests have been made as yet and anyone with information which can lead to the arrest of the suspect(s) in this matter to contact Colonel Alpheus Mokale at 082 565 6524. ALternatively they can go to Mokopane Police Station to identify the cattle.

Police investigations continue.
