Donation of dog food a big help for SPCA

The learners at Pepps Mokopane Primary School showed they truly care when they gave a huge amount of animal food to the Percy Fyfe SPCA.

The Gr 6 learners with the animal food the school collected. With them are school staff and Marcelle Maritz (Manager of the Percy Fyfe SPCA).

MOKOPANE – “We had a competition where every class participated to see who can collect the most animal food per class,” said Principal, Anette van Wyk.

The Gr 6 class were the winners. She also said that it is a great pleasure to know that the food will actually serve its purpose.

Marcelle Maritz, Manager of the SPCA, said that this is a great surprise and that she did not expect that much food to be collected. She said that the donations will come very handy to keep the animals fed and thanked the school for their support.
