Thohoyandou shop fires still under investigation
Six shops at the Nemaorani Shopping Complex within the Thohoyandou CBD were ablaze on Sunday morning.
LIMPOPO – It is alleged that one of the shop owners heard people screaming from the other side of this complex when he was opening.
Subsequently, he noticed smoke coming from the adjacent shops and immediately alerted the police who in turn alerted the fire brigade.
“The police in Thohoyandou are still investigating the cause of the fire and the estimated damage is not known at this stage,” said the Police Spokesperson, Lt Col Moatshe Ngoepe.
