Branding at its brightest

Johnny Tuba from Dalmada calls himself a brand psychologist, who aims to create influential brands across all platforms in the country.

POLOKWANE – The 28-year-old multimedia and production design graduate from City Varsity in Newtown, Johannesburg said growing up in a business-oriented family served as the core influence and still-growing passion for being an entrepreneur and a businessman.

“My grandfather had a few fried chicken franchises in Johannesburg and growing up watching him run those franchises and making money so effortlessly made me want to emulate him one day. I started selling doughnuts and cakes at a local school and they sold really well. I was also into inventing and creating things. I designed our matric jacket and after I finished high school I continued to design matric jackets,” said Tuba.

Tuba is the founder and CEO of Logic World SA, which is a branding and advertising registered business which specialises in artists’ management and events.

“What I wanted to focus on when I started Logic World SA was to create influential and phenomenal brands people can recognise and relate to. We design logos and also come up with brand direction for clients in order to assist them in growing their brands and making them well-known. Logic World also works with artists and helps turn them into big names. We are currently working with gospel sensation, Lebo Selolo.

“I live, eat, drink and breathe my business and in turn help other people to reach their potential to become successful in whatever ventures they go into, as long as it is related to my career,” said the brand psychologist and music producer.

Looking up to big media houses, he hopes to one day be one of the biggest media houses in the country and create big influential brands that make a difference in people’s lives, and also establish and turn artists into big names.
