LIMPOPO – Police spokesperson Brigadier Motlafela Mojapelo says the incident took place sometime between midday Friday, 7 July, and Sunday afternoon, 9 July.
“The matter was only reported to the police today, 10 July,” he said.
Mojapelo says a female white rhino was shot and de-horned on the Zinshoek farm in Bulgerivier, near Lephalale.
No arrest has been made as yet and Mojapelo says police are are appealing to anyone with information to contact the nearest police or to dial police toll free number 08600 10111.
