Planned water shutdown cancelled

The municipality says this is due to technical issues experienced on site.

POLOKWANE – According to the Polokwane Municipality, had the work continued with the technical issues experienced, it would have taken longer than planned resulting in longer shortages for the residents and businesses.

The municipality says affected communities will be notified of a new date of implementation once the technical issues on site have been dealt with.

“We thank you for your understanding as we endeavour to improve on services,” it said.

Residents are still encouraged to use water sparingly and water issues should be reported to the municipality on 0152902629.
