Passing of retired police officer a great loss

The recent passing of the well-known businessman and gym owner, Siphiko Isaac Selomo (67) is a great loss for the community of Mahwelereng.

LIMPOPO – He passed away last week Thursday after a short illness. A memorial service was held yesterday (Thursday) at Sipho’s Gym, Ruphus Seakamela Street, Mahwelereng. His funeral will take place on Saturday, 1 July at House 887, Zone 2, Mahwelereng.

Retired Lt Colonel Selomo will be remembered as a dedicated police officer who served the community with passion. After retiring from the police force Selomo opened the Sipho Gym in Mahwelereng where he trained and encourage teens to live a healthier life.

Motlatso Selomo said: “He was my bother-in-law and he was like a father to my children, he will be greatly missed”.
