LIMPOPO – Police spokesperson Lt Col Moatshe Ngoepe says the couple had a domestic dispute before the victim ran to her parental home.
“The suspect followed her and on arrival he began chopping her body and fled the scene,” Ngoepe said.
In another unrelated incident in Mokwakwaila, police are searching for a 24-year-old man who raped his 14-year-old cousin.
“He has been raping the victim since February 2016 until May 2017. The victim is one month pregnant,” Ngoepe said.
Police are appealing to the community to come forward with information that can lead to the arrest of both suspects.
