LIMPOPO – Two suspected criminals, aged 32 and 36-years-old, were killed during yet another mob-justice incident in the province, said the police.
The incident happened in Ga-Marishane village outside Groblersdal on Monday.
Police Spokesperson Lt Col Moatshe Ngoepe said it is alleged that a rampaging group of people traced the alleged suspects, caught them and assaulted them with various objects. One of the deceased was killed instantly and the second victim was rescued by the police and taken to hospital, but was certified dead on arrival.
The motive behind these brutal killings is still not known and will form part of a police investigation, Ngoepe added.
