Bishop Sinclair’s case postponed to October

He was arrested in February 2016 on several counts of sexual assault and charges of public indecency

POLOKWANE – The case against Westenburg Bishop Lucas Peter Sinclair  has been postponed to 17 October 2017.

He was arrested in February 2016 on several counts of sexual assault and charges of public indecency after a number of women from his church community came forward following a series of alleged indecent acts.

Sinclair appeared in the Mankweng Regional Court in March 2017 where he was charged with seven counts of assault: three sexual assaults, three indecency assaults and an attempted sexual assault, all of which he pleaded not guilty to.
