POLOKWANE – Motorists are notified that the municipality has to undertake closure of Landros Mare and Market Streets as a precautionary safety measure due to construction work in the CBD.
The following diversions will be made:
– Devenish will be closed from Schoeman to Church.
– Landdros closed from Rissik to Jorrisen.
– Market closed between Jorrisen and Rissik.
– Traffic from N1 Makhado will be diverted from Rissik into Schoeman and back into Landdros via Landdros.
– Traffic using Market can turn left at Jorissen join Church and right at Rissik and join Market again by turning left.
The municipality says other alternative streets can be used to reach various destinations within the city.
“Diversion signs and traffic officers will be available to assist with the diversions,” the municipality stated.
They have apologised for any inconvenience.
