Possible water shortages expected in Nirvana, Ivy Park and Ivydale
The municipality have advised residents to use water sparingly.
POLOKWANE – According to the municipality, an electrical failure at the Sand River North pumpstation may have a negative impact to the Potgieter reservoir.
The following areas may be affected Ivy Park ext 22, Ivydale, Nirvana and other portion of CBD.
The municipality says that technicians are on site to deal with the problem.
The pumps are running, however, the level is at 15%. Usage of less water is encouraged.
Members of the public are advised to use water sparingly during this period.
The municipality says areas that could be affected as a result are advised to report to the water section on 0152902376/2473.
