Missing girl (17) found safe

The 17-year-old girl was reported missing on 27 May.

LIMPOPO – Mahlatse Dedication Maile (17) has been found, says the police.

According to Police Spokesperson, Lt Col Moatshe Ngoepe, the learner was reported to be staying at her mother’s home in Germison, Gauteng.

Investigations into her said dissappearance and where she was until now is still under investigation, he said.

LIMPOPO – Police in Nebo outside Groblersdal have launched a search operation for a missing 17-year-old girl who was last seen on 27 May.

Mahlatse Dedication Maile, a learner at Matshumane Secondary School, was last seen by her grandmother on the morning of 27 May. She was wearing a blue and white dress and had her red and sky-blue school bag with her.

According to her grandmother, Mahlatse said she was heading to Gauteng to fetch her child but has since disappeared. No one has seen or heard from her since.

The police urge anyone with information pertaining to her whereabouts to contact their nearest police station or call the crime stop number at 08600 10111, or send an SMS to 32211.

Police investigations continue.
