POLOKWANE -Motorists traveling on the main road between Polokwane and Mogwadi (Dendron) have once again been warned to use alternative route following protests in the area.
The road near Marlo Nursury was blocked earlier today (Monday).
“Motorists are urged to avoid the area and use the alternative Soetdorings Road and the N1 when traveling to Musina. Police are on the scene,” reads reports on social media.
This comes after the same road was blocked by burning tyres on Sunday.

POLOKWANE – The main road between Polokwane and Mogwadi (Dendron) has been cleared after the road was blocked by protesters on Wednesday night, say the police.
The road near Marlo Nursery was blocked with large stones and motorists were forced to use alternative routes, according to reports on social media.
According to Police Spokesperson, Lt Col Moatshe Ngoepe the said incident took place at around 20:00 yesterday night. “The police attended to the situation and the road has since been cleared.”
The residents blocked the road in protest against the delayed tarring of a ring road in the Ramongwana area, said Municipal Spokesperson, Matshediso Mothapo on Thursday morning.
Police are still monitoring the situation concludes Ngoepe.
