POLOKWANE – One person was killed after a taxi and a bakkie, traveling in opposite directions, collided along the R521 road to Dendron (Mogwadi).
The accident occurred near the turnoff to Seshego along the Dendron road at around 17:40 on Monday.
According to a statement from Department of Transport Spokesperson, Joshua Kwapa, the 28-year-old driver of the taxi was killed and 13 passengers sustained injuries.

The exact cause of the collision is not yet known and a case of culpable homicide is being investigated, confirmed Kwapa.
