No more rhinos in Polokwane’s Game Reserve

Municipal spokesperson Matshidiso Mothapo says the rhinos were moved for safety purposes.

POLOKWANE – With an increase in rhino poaching and the species becoming more and more endangered, the animals have been moved from the Polokwane Game Reserve to a safe sanctuary.

Mothapo confirmed that the rhinos were moved on 25 May.

“For safety reasons, we are unable to say how many rhinos were moved,” he said.
