[LISTEN] Dr Rasila speaks to Review ahead of the Edu Summit 2017
The Department of Education will host the 2017 Provincial Education Summit from 29 to 30 May.
POLOKWANE – According to Education Department Spokesperson, Dr. Naledzani Rasila, the aim of this year’s summit is to assess the progress in the implementation of resolutions taken in 2016.
These include: focusing on roles of stakeholders in supporting education, teachers’ development and making sure learners play an active role in their education. Implementation of resolutions were conducted in all districts, Rasila said.

The summit will also see the launch of a new programme called ‘Data Driven Decisions’.
